Hi!
Ok on the Mac when you’ve chose one of the Bob’s in contacts then select the
edit button and then go to the menu [control+f2 or VO+m]
Then press C to go to the card menu and arrow down to add field sub menu and
right arrow into there and you will find nickname or on the iPhone look for add
You can use just about any sound editing app for this. I know quicktime pro
works, because I've done this exact thing.
Simply highlight each file (command-a to select the whole file) switch to the
main window (or whatever one has the combined book you're working on) paste it
in, move to end of
Hi George, have you tried audio book builder? it can be found on the mac app

Try booting in to your recovery console and see if there is a partition that
needs to be removed. Like an extra partition that you might have done, or a
boot camp partition you no longer use.
Take care.

Try a small mixing board witha splitter. I have a board with tape in and out.
I go tape in from the machine to my board, then hook my board up via usb. It
sounds quite good. I have several excerpts of this using my iphone at

take care.

Hello,
i have an iPhone 5S running IOS 8.1.2 and an iMac running Mac OS 10.10.2.
Contacts are synced between the two.
If I go to the task bar on my iPhone (double press of the home button) I see a
list of recently called phone contacts. this list includes just the first name
such as Bob.
I use an 8 channel mackie mixer $200 from sweet water. Chances are you won't
need that many channels but because of the work that i do, I need that many
channels. If you want to hear an example go here.
I thought it was. and I am glad I said the right key stroke as this was done 3
years ago, the podcast I mean.
I think it is in the menus but not sure. I heard about it from someone on
twitter who told me about it about the same time I was recording the podcast.
Blessings.

Hi all.
Some time ago I had to reinstall the os on my 27 inch iMac which is now
running yosemity. My iMac has a 1 TB hard drive. How ever, I see that my
macintosh HD has a copasity of about 265 GB of space. Come to think of it I
remember it being larger than this before I reformated. I
very good sound from the mixer.
what game were you playing? can a totally blind person play it?.
i'm thinking that what i need is a USB pre-amp for the mac. does that sound
right?

A preamp will boost a signle from an outside source. Yu need a way to record
the output of a sound card such as your iMic or what ever you hook the tv to. I
don't think a preamp is what you need or everytign will sound comptessed. They
have mic preamps but not sure if they have a usb sound card
cool, thanks for that info.
recording from TV to computer is very hard but better on the old system. using
an Olympus recorder is out of the question because the mike jacks on them tend
to give off a background hiss. …

Hi Paul,
Colin has given you a way to add nicknames to your contacts from your Mac, but
from your example I presume you would prefer to do this from your iPhone. You
can easily add nicknames to your contacts on the iPhone. For example, on your
iPhone, you can tell Siri, Open contacts app
I believe you can do this in Amadeus Pro but a free old Windows trick
that I used to use was to zip mp3 files together and then rename the
resulting zip extension to mp3. The result was a merged mp3 file. I
have not tried this on the Mac but you could give it a try as logically
it should work
