The problem with Safari and Voiceover on the Mac, the behaviour is so random.
The main problem is buffering. Sometimes I can go back a page and VO see's
everything, other times I have to switch VO off (VO + F5) and start it back up
again and the buffer is magically refreshed and everything is v

It appears that we need to identify some good troubleshooting tips on Safari
when we get these strange issues. Such as: Web site, download link, version of
OS, period of time you waited before reloading the page or Voice-Over. ETC.
I do not think this is an hardware issue. It seems to be

Hi James
Sometimes VoiceOver crashes and restarts when using certain websites. I can
reproduce this problem consistently when I log into our "Fritz!Box" web
interface. Actually it's quite annoying also with VoiceOver verbalises the

Hi Brian,
I'm running on a mid-2010 MacBook Pro, with, I believe, Intel Core 2 duo
processors. My Internet connection is a university network, so I'm not entirely
sure about speed, but it's pretty blazing fast by any standard, even on wifi. I
don't know what these facts might have to do with the
Hey Zack -- Funny thing is, I would agree with your statement that "the Safari
experience has grown more stable with every upgrade." I'm not sure I'd put this
particular issue in the "stability" category, though. It feels more like a
"performance" issue. Just a hunch. Almost feels like the webpa
Interestingly, the "busy, busy, busy" annoyance in Safari went away when I
upgraded to ML. The trade-off was that Bento has now taken over the "busy,
busy, busy" behavior.
Regarding Chrome: I've been using it with ChromeVox a lot lately as one of my

I've had vo crash and restart say once every 10 or 15 pages since ml but since

This has never been an issue here, I've been testing ML since it was a release
preview, and had no such problems. If anything, the safari experience has grown
more stable with every upgrade to the system, not less. The only exception I

This happens on my i7 MBA all the time. It was SOP under Lion and seems to be a

bring up the web rotor, and will either have no elements listed or just a few
items, usually in the links section. If I cycle VO, the elemen
i don't often need to do this but every once in a while I notice this. and not
on all web pages either, just some of them like my website provider's websites.
Be blessed.

I've found the same issue, but if I wait a bit, VoiceOver restarts. It
certainly is a bit annoying, to say the least.

I wonder if this is hardware-related? The only reason I ask, is that back in
the days of 10.4 Tiger, we all had the same problems. Nowadays, some of us
experience problems whilst others don't. Moreover, the problems are quite
diverse.
Thanks

Hello James,
It only seems to happen to me occasionally when clicking on a google search
result. I haven't noticed the problem anywhere else.

Morning folks,
When clicking on links, has anyone else noticed the seemingly constant need to
restart VoiceOver under Safari 6x? It's as if even though the page loads,
VoiceOver does not register it. Restarting VoiceOver seems to remedy this.
Just curious.
Thank you
Take care
