If all else fails, the best method might be to do a
restore/reset from iTunes. We were prompted to set this up when
we updated our devices I think, but it was quite some time ago.
We don't have to enter it each time we unlock the device; having
to do so would be incredibly irritated I

and convenience.

Hello AJ. All she needs to do is go into settings and turn off pass code lock I
think it is. She didn't have to turn it on originally but it is easy enough to
turn off.

Do the following:
Disable the passcode
Simply
1. go to Settings
2. select General and then scroll down to Passcode Lock. Select this and
then tap on Turn Passcode Off.
you will be asked to input your passcode a couple of times to navigate
through these menus.
