Re: Deleting Apps from the iPhone
Matt, The process is as follows. Double tap and hold while VoiceOver is focused on the app you want to delete. Your finger can, but doesn't have to be, on the actual app icon while you do this. Once you've done so, you'll hear a brief three tone sound. At this point, double tap again, assuming you're still focused on the app you want to delete, and you will be prompted to confirm the deletion. I hope this clarifies things somewhat. Some apps, such as the default ones from Apple, cannot be removed however. Best, Zack. No. from the home screen, 1. double tap and hold on the app you want to delete until you hear 3 ascending tones. 2. double tap the app again but don't hold. This is the same jester for opening an app 3. a dialogue will come up saying do you want to delete this app? 4. double tap confirm after flicking right to it, or finding it down at the bottom middle part of the screen. 5. Hit home to get out of this mode. That's it. hope that helps. steps to use unarchiver?
hello all, I have downloaded some books from the BARD site, (which is the place where those of us in the US can download books in audio format from our library.) so my books are now in my downloads folder and I have located them. when I open a book, which is a zipped archive it says archiver and shows the files inside. but now I don't know what to do next. when in my other operating system, I would extract the files and they would automatically go into a folder with the same name of the book and then I could move it to an external device for reading. thanks for any help. Right click or hit the context menu then arrow down to your extraction software and enter. Then it should work as it used to. - Original Message - From: Cathy flowersandhe...@gmail.com To: Mac OSX iOS Accessibility mac-access@mac-access.net Sent: Tuesday, March 19, 2013 4:28 PM Subject: steps to use unarchiver? hello all, I have downloaded some books from the BARD site, (which is the place where those of us in the US can download books in audio format from our library.) so my books are now in my downloads folder and I have located them. when I open a book, which is a zipped archive it says archiver and shows the files inside. but now I don't know what to do next. when in my other operating system, I would extract the files and they would automatically go into a folder with the same name of the book and then I could move it to an external device for reading. thanks for any help. I thought they said you can't delete the apps that Apple put on the phone. I don't, for example, use the game center or stocks or stuff like that.
