Hi Jin

Gordon this time. That is a very very interesting observation indeed. I
can sort of follow the logic as to why this might occur. All the same, it's
surely not by design? I will follow this up and do some testing our end.
If it's consistent with your findings I will query it with Apple's technical
staff and let you know.

Kind regards

Thanks much for your post.

Actually, I can confirm that, if I turn mouse keys on using the USB

mouseKeys off, my Bluetooth keyboard reverts to it's proper state.

Strange.

Re: Deleting Apps from the iPhone

2013-03-19 Thread Zachary Kline
Matt,
The process is as follows. Double tap and hold while VoiceOver is focused on
the app you want to delete. Your finger can, but doesn't have to be, on the
actual app icon while you do this. Once you've done so, you'll hear a brief
three tone sound. At this point, double tap again, assuming you're still
focused on the app you want to delete, and you will be prompted to confirm the
deletion. I hope this clarifies things somewhat. Some apps, such as the default
ones from Apple, cannot be removed however.
Best,
Zack.

steps to use unarchiver?

2013-03-19 Thread Cathy
hello all,

I have downloaded some books from the BARD site, (which is the place where
those of us in the US can download books in audio format from our library.) so
my books are now in my downloads folder and I have located them. when I open a
book, which is a zipped archive it says archiver and shows the files inside.
but now I don't know what to do next. when in my other operating system, I
would extract the files and they would automatically go into a folder with the
same name of the book and then I could move it to an external device for
reading.
thanks for any help.

Right click or hit the context menu then arrow down to your extraction
software and enter. Then it should work as it used to.

Hi Brenda, if you're asking if this can be done, yes. However if you no longer
want the apps, it's best to delete them instead of just moving them into
folders, because they will still take up space on your device.
