i have a 17 studio display monitor that is in need of repair. i called the complete mac (new name?) and was told that they could send it to apple but the minimum cost would be $499. is there anyone out there that would know of anyone in the louisville area that repairs apple monitors. thank

You may be able to get Apple to pay for it, depending on its age. I know of people who have had good luck and no luck with Apple's promised repair. Bill's TV sounds like a good idea, but maybe it's a sign you need a new, bigger monitor? The money you'll spend on repair may be enough to get you
