complete mac (new name?) and was told that they could send it to apple but the
minimum cost would be $499. is there anyone out there that would know of
anyone in the louisville area that repairs apple monitors. thank

I am a Mac technician, and according to Apple as of Sept 2001, your monitor
is a mail in repair (Blue and white and Graphite monitors).
And according to Apples service guide if the monitor is popping or
cracking it needs service.
