Yeah, the gripe you have with Walgreens is something they have had since
accepting Apple Pay from the get go. It's stupid in my opinion, and everyone
else's opinion as well. Maybe one day if they can have a enough customer
complaints they will drop the requirement for inputting your card pin.
Speaking of changes…Kroger will not accept ApplePay, so we shop at
Meijer…Walgreens has always accepted ApplePay from the beginning..
Some chip registers still ask for you to enter you PIN, but NEVER has anyone
ask for my PIN when using ApplePay, there is NO reason for this, Apple’s system

Thanks for the info. I can't hear on phone but left messages on their message
center where they claim they will answer in 4 hours but 26 hours later no
response. I have Wells Fargo Visa card and will just use that at Costco. Citi
is not up to date with progress. Ridiculous.
