This is not normal. Have you tried to update to 10.2.1 to see if that helps? OS-X is designed to go for long stretches of time without restarting, but without knowing more of what you are running and things like that it is very hard to say what the problem is.

If you have a DSL or high speed it may have automatically downloaded the update to 10.2.1... or installed some security fix as there were some holes in 10.2.0. Either way... go to software update and get the 10.2.1 update and it may fix that problem. I had it for a while until I updated
