Peter,

Calm down young man, the original post was about folks falling for the wiles of 
firms using unsuspecting methods to mine info. about us.

I chimed in saying my wife easily would fall for this, unknowingly, but she 
would…I didn’t want to kick her in the chins without mentioning that her lack 
of tech skills in any way reflected on her other abilities….it was my way of 
redeeming my revealing her gullibility.  

The ONLY Christian post was by myself through what I thought was a direct email 
from Jonathan, it wasn’t meant for the group and I apologized…

So, this thread WAS about Computers, a warning for us to be diligent over HOW 
information is unsuspectingly drawn from us, it does fit our group, only you 
have wanted to make it an issue..

Take a deep breath, learn to favor your fellow members, maybe each post won’t 
be directly related to the Mac but most all are related to our world of 
Tech…we’ll all feel better about each other.

Being ignorant and presumptuous, you raced to the conclusion that I misused the 
word hoist.  I am well aware of the meaning of both hoist and foist.



I chose hoist to communicate the sort of burden that truth would have upon a 
Pharisee. A hypocrite, a religious bigot.  Foist would have been too judgmental.



In linguistics, grammar (from Greek: γραμματική) is the set of structural rules 
governing the composition of clauses, phrases, and words in any given natural 
language. The term refers also to the study of such rules, and this field 
includes phonology, morphology, and syntax, often complemented by phonetics, 
semantics, and pragmatics.


If by grammar Nazi, you mean someone who chooses to use words according to 
their meaning, then you should perhaps check the meaning of both Nazi and 
grammar.



Is Macgroup a Christian group who likes Apple computers, or is it a group of 
people who are interested in Apple computers and want to learn more about Apple 
computers, and want a way of sharing information and providing support to each 
other?

or unwarrantably into: he attempted to foist a new delegate into the conference.

But does she wear the pants?  I'm sorry, that is getting way too personal, 
anyway it doesn't matter to me.  What two consenting adults do in the privacy 
of their homes is ok with me as long as it is truly consensual, and not 
unhealthy.
