Hi,
Yes, I get the same thing. Interestingly enough, VoiceOver
automatically interacts with the item I'm moving to. That does get a
bit confusing, and I ended up finding it kind of hard to get back to
the text of the note in question. Reading it isn't a problem, but

Hi,
A good idea is simply to turn your Growl off in System preferences.
I'm not kidding you. Every time I used Skype, or Adium even if I
turned Growl notifications off, it kept saying Adium/Skype has new
dialog, and it annoyed the heck out of me. So yes, you're safe to
turn it off. The
Hi,
A very, very weird issue. I've been trying to reproduce that problem
for the past twenty minutes, to no success.
I'll definitely let you know if anything comes up that makes sense to
me, though, but hopefully someone might know.

Hi,
You can do it yourself. When the virtual machine is running, simply VO-
right until you get to a connect whatever menu. Usually, what you
connect when XP is running is automatically connected through XP,
though.

Hi,
Yeah, it says new line every time you do it manually. I can't find
anything that has anything to do with blank lines in the VoiceOver
Utility. Guess you can just use Vo-B to read from the top, and VO-A to
read from your current position and downwards.

Yup. I use a USB Jaws dongle and if I have XP up and running at the time
I plug it in everything just works.

Hi,
Sometimes an HTML message includes a text alternative, which reads
better and doesn't read all those blank lines. To access it, press
Command-Option P, or go to the View Menu, choose Message, then Plain

Doubtful since this predates VO existing. VO came out with OSX 10.4 in
April 2005. If an application uses standard Apple Ui elements and APIs
they get accessibility 'free' but Microsoft usually doesn't do this.
Hence even the latest Office being pretty much unusable.
