Hi, A good idea is simply to turn your Growl off in System preferences. I'm not kidding you. Every time I used Skype, or Adium even if I turned Growl notifications off, it kept saying Adium/Skype has new dialog, and it annoyed the heck out of me. So yes, you're safe to turn it off. The
