If you are talking about VO parameters, they are not affected by unloading and reloading as far as I know. The last settings adjusted are remembered. I find that using SnowLeopard, I can generally hit the spacebar on buttons and most of the time, that activates the available choices. Les --

The problem in this situation is that the standard procedure for diagnosis of faults hasn't been followed. Idealy, the system should have been formatted and reinstalled, tested, updates installed, tested ... you get the picture. Since this hasn't been done, its going to be pretty hard to isolate
