Well, I plan to test Quicken Essentials out at my local Apple store soon. When that happens, I'll report back on my findings. I've used Quicken for Windows and it's somewhat accessible for tracking checking and saving accounts. Budgeting and investment accounts didn't work for me. We'll see

Hi James, Thanx for the suggestions but: I can't find any option to select that usb should be the preffered way to connect a external device with Isync. in the prefferences It's version 3.1.0 (585.0) of isync. there is also an old device selected to synchronize in Isync but I can't remove

Hello, Just wanted to let everyone know that I was able to fix the problem. Again google to the rescue! Appears there are some files created with a .lck extension when the guest is up. By going to the vmware machine, entering command I for get info I was able to locate the lock file (.lck)
