In this case, you would go to the VO utility with VO-f8 and choose the speech category. Then you choose the voices tab. In that dialog is a button labeled additional voice options. Check those voices and see what their values are. HtH, Teresa on the other hand, there are different fingers.

One thing you can also do to avoid this is diable the tool bar in your apps. In most cases, there are keyboard commands for doing the same thing, and disabling the tool bars means less clutter on the screen. It's a personal preference of course, but I much prefer it this way. Original message:
