I played around with both the mobile site on my MacBook, and the iPHone app, and cannot figure out a way to do it. I can only upload photos. I sometimes can get a choose file to appear on the mobile site, but cannot find which button allows me to choose the file before hitting that button.

I think the purpose of the DOS is the show you where the cursor is. I've experimented turning that off as well. However, I find that I like having it on because then I know for certain where the cursor is actually located. The other option you have is to have a blank. That might be worth
