Actually, I am using my iPad Mini more than I did under iOS 7 because of the
Alex voice and Braiile Screen Input which really works like a Perkins. My
eventual goal is to use my tablet for most operations and use the mac for the
rest.

If space did not work reliably, I would not be using the onscreen braille input
to take notes or write case notes at work. I am now almost as fast onscreen as
I am on the braille keyboard, and expect to be as fast shortly.
The problem some people are having is quite possibly the same problem I
Well, I really must agree with your last point about which braille version
and making people spell; some of the worst speech mode writing errors
appear here.
What chance of a job with that level of spelling, and for sure it is still
quicker than groping for the letter on the on'screen keyboard
I mostly use tabletop mode and am not having the space problem. I wonder if
some of it has to do with proportionate size or length of fingers or something
related to that which makes this happen more for some of us than others. I also
am becoming faster and faster at braille input mode though I
I had had several request to continue to post my Podcast here.
So here goes.
The latest Mac podcast is below.
This one is on using Safari and getting a Flexible Web like experience
which makes reading pages easier.

Is there a command to skipping past tables and Safari. Often I find very large
tables on the certain website and I want to quickly jump past it to the end of
the table. Is there a command I can use to do this.

Hi guys
I just figured out, I think, what is wrong with my braille keyboard input. This
is weird and I didn't think this could happen. It has got.3.2 reversed. It took
me a while to figure this out, but I finally did. Only thing is,no matter what
I do, I can't make it start over and recalibrate
Hi, I think I said this already:
The video gets downloaded first then, if you want (you can select this in the
apps settings) the app converts the file to mp3 and then deletes the original
video. You can give it as many videos ad you like and if you like it will
autostart them one after
Hi Ray, I have not found that one yet: how can you configure downie to autoload
all videos?
Another thing that i like is that, if you have the safari extension installed
downie works with LOADS of other sites as well, even sites that it does not
officially support (like twit).
I will certainly
Just go to the prefs window and on the general tab, you will find the setting
that allows a video to download the instant you press the open with Downie
button.

Thanks, Sabahattin, magical things did happen when I switched to list view.
VoiceOver could suddenly see the connect/disconnect button. How odd that it
doesn't appear in column view.

Hi all,
I was going through my applications and I had them listed from largest to
smallest. Boy, was I surprised to see iMovie is nearly 3GB.
For those of you that use this app, could you tell me more. What do you do
with it? What is your experience with it and voiceover?
Does anyone use
I primarily use it to edit videos. Unfortunately, you can't remove it as it is
a stock OSX app

Hey all. I think it was a few weeks ago I said that I couldn't get Radium to
work on my iPhone with Sirius XM. Well, I purchased Radium for my Mac today and
signed into my account with no problems. So I figured I'd try Radium again on
the iPhone and sure enough I signed into Sirius XM with no
How does the current version work for editing a video from one length to
another? I cannot figured how to set markers to do this. I can move quickly
through a video using the j key to go back, the k to pause and the l key to go
forward, but, the mmarker keys are dimmed out. Anything I'm
Oh I'm not sure as I'm still using the older version. I heard the latest
version wasn't the most accessible so I never bothered with it

that is certainly good news. Are navigating through channels accessible? Are
they all presented in the channels table as they are for normal over the air
stations?
