Hi Simon,
No, I really haven’t thought about using Sonos. I can’t exactly say why, except
that I am always been interested in this sort of three-dimensional sound that
you supposedly got from the HomePod. I don’t think Sonos offers that.

Thanks Tim and Ray. I will delve into this during the week. Just
might find some treasure.

Hi Mary,
Have you thought about trying the sonos products which now use alexa for voice
recognition
I find the sonos devices excellent for both useage and sound quality.
Mind you we don’t have the home pods here in NZ so I can’t compare.

This I find interesting,
I just had siri play the wall and the wall delux release both by holding down
the power pbutton and saying play and also using the hey siri to play the

Can't see what the trouble is that your having as it worked all four times for

HI Christine,
OMG! Now I am hungry! :)
It looks like the menu is actually two jpg images and the menu link just moves
focus within the page, to those images.
I’ll see if I can OCR them but for now, I cannot think of another way to try to
read these.
Cheers!

Well, I use Microsoft Outlook interchangeably between MacOs and Windows. I like
the fact that the Macintosh version has most common functions in a menu though
it does not have as much functionality as the Windows version. For example I
have not figured out a way to use the ignore conversation

Hi,
Thank you. Not exactly sure how to access all these accessibility modes when
using google classroom but will look it over and try.
Thanks again!

Mystic Access has a tutorial on using G suite with screen readers including
voiceover. I have purchasedit but have not gone through it yet. It does appear
to be quite useful. The tech support in the accessibility section of google are
not trained and although they are well intended, were

Hi,
A couple of things. Google makes it difficult to use their web apps due to the
ever changing nature of their coding of the apps. Basic accessibility is
always present, but the more interactive nature of these apps is not always
quite so friendly. I would first make sure that you always
Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for your interest. Yes, you may contact me at my work email,

this tomorrow afternoon some time. You can also explain how this group works.
Sounds like some that help request compensation?
hello,
I would be interested in working with you to figure this out. I am not an

Hello,
I am a teacher of the visually impaired and working with a freshman
highschooler who has a MacBook provided by her school. Her teachers are using
Google classroom. She uses voiceover on her phone and is very competent.
As her TVI I am trying to help her learn voiceover on the laptop.
Thanks for the reply’s. I have read some reviews on the HomePod. And the folks
doing reviewing seemed of the same general opinion regarding the quality of the
hardware and that Siri lags behind in some respects. But I always find it
interesting to get reviews from real people, rather than just

I've been told by a lot of folks that the office suite on Mac is still a

Hi Mary,
I have a Homepod. I will probably get another. But my impressions of it are
basically the same as all the reviews you'll find if you Google it:
Homepod hardware is absolutely second to none. Sound is fantastic, the
microphones can hear me speaking at normal volume from miles away.
Hi!
Actually i am beginning to be more and more sceptic about how Siri works when
you want to play music from your apple device.
I don’t know why this is so hard but i tried to ask Siri to play The wall by
Pink Floyd yesterday and it didn’t work at all.
Today i asked Siri t play a swedis song
Yeah, Simon, there is. I did, and it seems to have fixed the problem.
