I find it helps if I lie the remote flat on the arm of my couch and just swipe
my finger up / down etc while the remote is laying flat and therefore I don't
have to hold my remote in my hand.

Apples accessibility team told me they were not able to duplicate the issue. So

Hi everyone,
I am using Numbers for spreadsheets which generally works fine but I have an
issue when someone send me a spreadsheet where they have merged columns to
create wider headings I think VO just says merged cell but does not read what
is in the cell even if I try interacting with it.
I didn't care during the holidays when I got some eggnog that was
loaded. But I do add safer ingredients to my coffee. :) Hopefully
tomorrow things will go smoothly.

and then signing back into iTunes and iCloud with the new Apple ID
