Hi, Yes, sorry, you're out of luck for those kinds of streaming services. We've got one like that here in Canada, and it's a pane in the behind. Apple Channels can be found under the Watch Now section of the Apple TV 4 and 4K, as well as a ways down there if you use the TV app on iOS/iPadOS.

I use an external drive made by Western Digital (WD). The model I have is not SSD but if I need to replace it, will look for SSD. A new Mac with a large internal drive is certainly an option but a budget killer. My library on an external drive is about 1.5 TB (music, TV shows and movies)

That means the App itself is free but there are areas or functions in the app that you need to pay for. For example if it is a game you can play to a certain level and then you need to pay to keep playing it, or you can buy different games within the app if it has more then one game available.
