Hi all,
Is anyone else finding that their Apple TV is not behaving as expected? I can
hardly navigate anymore. I've tried changing from VO follows Focus to Direct
Touch, and it doesn't seem to matter (I don't know what the difference is
supposed to be between these two options, my Apple TV
yeah. that's a good idea. I didn't know how big the file was and I started at
one of the highest traffic times.

Hi Maurice,
Thanks so much for responding. I don't actually have a Focus, but I'm looking
at it, because I need a braille display ASAP, and the one I would buy, left to
my own devices, is back-ordered till late December.
According to FS's documentation, all files with the suffix BRF are opened
good morning, it really depends on how big the file is. From what I
remember the documentation saying, I do have a focus fifth generation
blue display. You can edit, do whatever you want to with the file so
long is this "30 2K or less" if the file exceeds 30 2K it becomes
read-only. I think
Yes, I have a 2019 Macbook Pro. I notice this in mail when doing select all.
Did not have the issue before updating.

Hi all,
So I'm still on the quest for a braille display. Is it really true that on the
Focus Blue 5th gen, that if you open a BRF file, you cannot edit it?
TIA,

Hi all,
Are you guys getting more busy nags from Voiceover since updating the OS? I’m
getting them in mail and news.
This is a brand new MacBook Air, so there shouldn’t be any hardware issues. 路♀️
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,

I’ve found that the labeling is dependent on your provider. For example with
gmail the labels on the Mac are “Archives” and “Archives” whereas on the iPHone
they are “All Mail” and “Archives”. Go figure.

Hello,
Thanks for the tip of pressing the edit button above the list of all mail
boxes. I tried this but alas All Junk was not in the list of possible mail
boxes while All Sent, All Drafts, All Rubbish and All Archive were in this
list. Strangely on Bigsur on my iMac All Junk is in the list of
Hi A few weeks ago, someone on the list mentioned issues with selecting and
coming text from websites.
I’ve been searching mail and I can’t find the solution. As I too am having this
challenge, could someone please guide as to how to resolve this problem?
Whenever I attempt to select stuff,
There is a vo system configuration to have the vo cursor track the system and
mouse cursors. That way the vo cursor is where you have navigated. Vo key
commands continue to work independently of this feature.

Janina,
Yes, I’ll bet that different manufacturers use these contacts differently.
An Apple or other brand plug can have a tip, two rings, and the sleeve to
make 4 contacts, and even if the ground is wired to the sleeve, the intended
jack might have a larger sleeve contact that shorts out
Janina,
I think I have that same Apple hub, with three USB-A, one HDM, one SD, one
RJ-xx, and yes one USB-C slot. There’s another slot that might be for a smaller
memory card, but not sure. I’ve also encountered times where I need to move my
USB-A device from one port to another to get it to
Hi,
I don't see the link. Could you maybe paste it into the body of the
message?
Alternative, you might want to search running processes for an instance
of ping and kill the process id.
The following terminal command may help:
sudo killall ping

Yes, you're correct, Brad. I was trying to point to the time of

That was actually my initial reaction to your email, i.e. a typo.

Thanks for this info, Brad. I was frankly surprised by the behavior I'm
seeing since the hub I have is genuine Apple bought directly from Apple.
Go figure.
I'm connected to the Mini over what appears to be USB-C. The hub gives
me several ports, including USB-A and HDMI.
I wonder whether it
Hi, Matthew:
OK, since you already have the replacement unit and assuming the same
behavior turns up, you have another option.
There are converter plugs that will swap the appropriate leads. If you
can find the appropriate converter plug, this may be a workable option.
You may want to contact
Yes, and mine is currently working just fine connected to a Mackie 1202
audio mixer. The Mackie seems tolerant both ways around as I've had all
manner of audio devices connected without issue.

Hi, Dave:
Yes, it does have to do with TRS terminations. Why is, of course, a
business/philosophical question I can't answer. How is also something I
can't describe off the top of my head, but I did find this web link:
tonight I didn't have any trouble with it. I don't know what's going on. maybe
last night's link was broken or somerthing.
