Hey Kim, Go into the vo utility and pick the first row in the table, it might be called general or something like that. this is where you can add a personalized greeting when the computer is turned on. In this same row is the radio button for use apple scripts. Make sure this is checked.

Jean, For that preview pane thing, stop interacting with the messages table. Vo right left arrow to the *vertical* splitter. Then you have to either click the physical mouse or the track pad. You know you're successful in getting rid of the preview pane if you get tossed back into a message.
