Hi everyone,
Having a brain cramp on an issue starting my MacBook Pro with VoiceOver.
Somehow my settings got changed so when I start my computer I hear VoiceOver
on, then "speech off".
What keystrokes do I use to get speech turned back on?
Thanks.

Hi Donna,
What you might want to try is to hold down CTRl and option keys, and hit the
power button 3 times.
This should get you into a window where accessibility settings are checked or
unchedcked.
Use VO and right arrow to move through the options. VoiceOver should be the
first option. It

Hi all,
I am also having issues with Big Sur Voiceover and Siri.
When I hold Command-spacebar, I get the two chimes which lets me know Siri is
ready.
I speak my command, and let up on the spacebr.
Siri starts to speak, and is cut off immediately.
I have noticed that when attempting to use Siri

Hi all,
I installed Big Sur on my MacBook Pro when it first came out.
I was having some issues that I was hoping to resolve by erasing my drive and
starting over.
When I went into disk utilities, I wasn't able to erase my drive, that option
was dimmed out.
So I went into recovery mode hoping

Hi,
It was my mistake.
I had some browser settings which got in the way of reading the web page.
I have Onyx now.
Thanks for setting me on the path to get it.

If this works it's the only one.

Hi all,
I have one problem with reading threaded messages this way.
It seems that no matter which way I have the settings for displaying newest
message on top, I always have the newest one on top. It seems like this setting

Hi,
When I had this issue with the videos freezing the game, I wrote to the
developer, and he said just quit the game.
All of your settings and rewards will still be intact when you restart it.
I haven’t had any videos to watch lately, so I am not sure if this is fixed in
later updates.

Hello all,
What I have done is to ask Siri what my battery charge status is.
That works quickly.
i did send an email to Apple Accessibility about the invisibility of the
charge status, but haven't heard anything back yet.

Are you trying to enter a full braille cell?
If so, you can only enter 5 dots at a time.
So what I do is press down 5 fingers, then lift up one, and complete the full
cell, then lift up all fingers.
I hope this is what you were looking for.

Hi Mark,
Yes, I can confirm this bug.
I had posted to the v-phone list with this issue earlier this week.
A work-around I found is to double tap on the thread to open it, not go to the
actions and expand the thread.
When I double tap to open the thread, then when I flick down with one finger,

I did have to wait a bit for the apps to come into focus, but I was able to

Hi Frank,
You might want to try hitting vo-j after you open the message.
This should bring focus to the message content, and start reading it.

Hi Matt,
Super Duper is easy to use.
You run the program, set up your source and destination drives using pop-ups.
You can choose whether to do a smart backup wihch bcks up only newer files.
