With Catalina, apparently you have to drag the ringtone into the general area
of the iPhone on the side bar but the problem is, the voice-over drag commands
do not work here and well, it doesn't really work at all.

I’ve been using Catalina for quite a while and have had no issues with
accessibility of any kind.
There is of course the matter of 32-bit apps no longer being supported in
Catalina, but that is not an accessibility issue.
Unless you have an application that is 32-bit that you really need
choice.

One thing I discovered recently after my son wiped out his disk drive, is that
time machine backups of Catalina include a recovery partition with a Catalina
installer. You might find this very useful.

I use my local County Library system to find digital audio books. Once I borrow
them, I use Overdrive to do the actual downloading of the MP3 format files.
Then I process them with Audio Book Binder to create the M4B book files that I
sync to my iPhone. Seems like a lot of steps at first, but

Oh, that makes sense, Dave. I still get a lot of books from Bookshare, and
those can be downloaded as Daisy files, so import nicely into Voice Dream. But
I can see how if you just had a text file, this would make for a better reading
experience.

music folder as MP3 files, or other audio file types. The problem with that is
that they could be affected by the shuffle feature, so chapters may not play in
