You might try doing a Save As using, CMD + Option + Shift + S.

Depends on the PDF form.
Some PDF forms are editable, some must be printed out and filled in using a
writing implement, and scanned back into the computer.

Hi!
Was trying to fill out a pdf form last night but when I sent the form to the
one who needed it it wasn’t filled out.
I used preview to do that.
Can I do it in pages if its a pdf-form?
Or are there other apps that will work for this?
Thanks.

Hi brian,
I did a google search on this a couple of months ago and turned up a malarky
blog post where some one had used the text to speach feature of adobe for mac
to describe all the fields and then some tricky way to get to the first one and
thus fill out a form. It seemed ridiculous to
Hi all. So I remember reading late last year that the latest version of
acrobat reader dc for mac had proper support for tagged .pdf files. So
now I wanted to test this. made sure my mac was completely up to date

Hi Eric,
As tim rightly said: it's the forms that are at fault. So I can just whistle
in the wind for now. smile I have to begin to control the urge I have to try
things. smile again
All the best

Hi there
I haven't followed this thread too closely because of the holidays etc.
However, did you get PDF Pen pro or some other program? Nic and I had some
correspondence about this when I can use it just fine, and he couldn't. He and
I both got things resolved, so I was wondering if we could
well,
how long ago did you pay for that software? if you can't use it because of
accessibility issues, you might be able to get your money back (although, if
you got it through the app store, it might take some effort). Otherwise, try
contacting the software vendor. they might be able to help.
Hi,
Yes, after it was fixed, I am totally able to fill out the form on my own. The
issue Eric, is not with respect to the accessibility of the app, but with the
accessibility of the pdf forms, therefore, I’m not sure that an app return is
possible.

Andrew,
Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I sat with one of our Adobe Master teachers
fixing up a form and it took a bit of work to actually make it properly
readable for me. It took about 15 minutes to get all the fields fixed up, but,
it sure was worth it to me. I did have the advantage
Hi Tim,
Having fixed your form with somebody else's help, could you now do it yourself?
Or does it always require sighted help? I'm afraid I've bought pdf pro but
have not been able to use it. So as you said, it's just sitting there, an
expensive thing.
Best wishes for Christmas
Simon
Hi,
If a pdf is formatted properly, then you interact with the pdf content area
once and you’ll be set in the level where you can quickly navigate the various
pages if it is a multi-page document. Interact one more time on the specific
page and, if a field is an Edit field, VO will announce
Dear Tim,
Thanks again for your valuable input. I rather feared it was the case. I'm
not sure I was wise to have spent the money on pdf pro as very few people will
have made sure they had constructed a proper pdf form.

I'll give the trial a shot, but even the non-pro app is $60. That's a whole lot
for the occasional form; too bad there isn't anything else out there. Thanks
for the reminder about the trial version.

Is that the only option? I'd rather have a free, or at least far cheaper, app
if at all possible.
