There is a VPN server (supports both PPTP and L2TP-in-IPSec with optional
NAT-T) included in OS X Server. Bonus if you have an AirPort device, because
OS X Server will configure it for you. If not, it’s still pretty
straightforward to turn it on, set the IP range, configure the users that

VPN on OSX
I’m not sure about the specific service but setting up a VPN in general is very
simple. I myself use a hardware VPN device but services like this should work
the same way. What problems specifically are you having configuring or using
the service?

OK, this is what I did.
I first installed something called Tuntap as per HMA's instructions. Then, I

I've just started using it on my Mac. The app is sort of accessible. The
biggest problem so far I had when opening it for the first time, having created
an account on HMA's website. It took me some time to work out how to sign in
because the signing in window must be a strange one,
I never had to install tuntap. I only installed their desktop app and it
worked.

Hi all,
has anybody successfully used the Hide My Ass virtual private network service
on OSX? I've used it beautifully on Android, iOS and Windows XP, but the Mac
eludes me yet. For those who don't know, Hide My Ass (name of service) is a
virtual private network (VPN) service which allows one
You would then have to set Tun Tap as your default gateway interface and point
default there. There should be auto configuration scripts to handle these
events.
