Hi!
There’s also the extras menu where you can select the speakers you want.
I have VoiceOver set so it won’t follow system sound.

I sometimes have issues with my Sonos speakers connecting. When that happens,
I have to go into the Control Center.

Even on iDevices you don’t have to do the Control Center usually. Most of the
time you can change it in the lock screen window, and most apps have an Airplay
button option. I had also forgotten about the music method as My VO is not set
to follow the soundcard.

Hi,
You’ll also notice when in the Music app, within the AirPlay section, that you
can control other devices too. So, if your HomePods were playing music in
another room, under the Control Other Devices section, you will see that the
HomePods are playing and what they are playing. VO-space
Thanks, Tim! This is super helpful. It didn’t dawn on me to look in the Music
app, because I expected it to be in the Control Center, like it is on I-devices.
Cheers,

Hi,
Actually, if all you’re doing is playing music or other media, then going
through System Preferences is not the best choice. Instead, in the Music app,
you’ll find an AirPlay button. All devices that support AirPlay and some
Bluetooth devices will be listed there. You can select one or
Yes. Go to System Preferences, Sound, Output, and select your speaker from
there. Make sure the speaker is on and if it's something like a Homepod, on the
same iCloud account.

Hey all,
Subject says it all. I went into Control Center on my Mac, and tried selecting
Airplay and Music, but when I did that, it seem to be prompting me to broadcast
VO over other speakers, which is not what I want to do. I tried telling Siri
to play music on other speakers, and was told
