I actually use the preview pain in Mail to read my messages. All you do is
highlight a message, vo-right until you either hear the message headers such as

How I read mail is like this.
Get to a message.
Press enter, it then says content scroll area. I stop interacting with VO Up
arrow. Then I VO left and
