Many thanks for your help on this. Changing the lightning to 3.5 jack adapter
fixes the problem. There must have been a wiring glitch in my prior adapter.

with Apple devices. But I did want to chime in and say that it’s been my
experience that if you upgrade to the 2 meter or 6ft long version of Apple’s
lightning cable it does seem to be slightly thicker and thus
bend the wires.

Bluetooth and iOS that I decided to get this keyboard that has the lightning
connector. It is a great keyboard. It has a full set of vo keys on both sides
of the space bar and a great typing feel
This may sound like a weird question. Maybe I'm not completely
understanding, but if you're using what I think you are, could you not just
bluetooth the thing to the Android device instead of connecting it via
lightning/micro USB? Sorry if I'm a little bit confused.

ever heard of a device sort of an adapter, that you could use to convert the
lightning plug to a micro USB plug for use on other devices

supply in his PC a few months ago do to a brownout or surge. Point is,

connection on my old G4 Mac. Luckily I was able to install a PCI

How do you know it was lightening? What was the other problem you
were working on? Maybe the Mac was in the process of dying and the
lightening had nothing to do with the Mac dying.
