I am looking forward to the podcast about side loading apps. That’s awesome!
Does this mean you could put the Amazon Alexa app on your Mac?
A little side question. How did you get voice to read out the time in that
order? Mine says the date first. Also, I like how your battery status read how
I agree, I got it from you tubers and I should have thought a little before
using it here. Sorry.
I have MBP 2016 15” and sometimes it is sluggish also. I don’t know whether
they fixed it on more recent devices or not. I’m curious to know how it
performs on M1 devices since they are more
Cool! Thanks! Looking forward to your podcast.

Hi Donna. I used an app called Imazing and downloaded Bard to that library and
once you do this there is an export option which you can save it to your Mac.
Its a zipped file but once you open it becomes a app file. I will do a podcast
on this process during the weekend.

Hi Mohammed,
Hated is too strong a word. It’s just inconvenient. And yes, for the reason you
describe. I like the contextuality of the touch bar, and understand why Apple
may have thought it a cool and innovative thing. But on my 2017 Macbook Pro,
it’s response is sluggish. I have to rub my

1. On windows, with NVDA, you can Toggl keyboard help (or whatever its name)
that tells what’s under your finger. I use it with NVDA + 1, and search for
volume up (for example), then Toggle it back off, and press the volume up.

Hi Joe,
What do you mean by side loading? How does one do that?

There are hacks out already to run Windows Insider on the M1 Macintosh
computers. I highly doubt they would work with JAWS or NVDA though, and reports
I have read do say that memory can run out and cause performance issues when
running this.

I just side loaded Bard Mobile and it works listened to 3 chapters in a book.
This is cool previously I was using Airfoil and airfoil satellite to broadcast
to my Mac from my iPhone. It could be the fact I had my iPhone connected to my
Mac but battery has dropped a little quicker today my
Hi!
Wow!
That’s interesting.
I am a bit curious about how it would be to run Ipad apps on the Mac.

John Grouber of Daring Fireball fame has said that with his M1 MacBook Pro, he
could only get the fan to come on when he had 50 Google Chrome tabs open, and
was doing video processing. He was so surprised by this that he contacted
others with review products to make sure his system did not have
That's interesting. I had an Air, then upgraded to the Pro, and have since
wished I'd just stuck with the Air. I would go with the 512, so that would give
me the extra core. Kind of leaning that way at the moment.

The Cheapest air also only has a 7 core processor which again may or may not
affect anything. If you step up to the 512 version they do give you the extra
core so you have the 8. I wanted to go fanless but decided ultimently to go
with the pro. The Touch Bar doesn’t bother me to much I can work
That's what I've gathered too. But there must be some reason why they put a fan
in one and not the other.

The absence of a fan can affect the MacBook Air’s performance when

Hello,
The new MacBook Pro still has the Touch Bar. The only MacBook without it is the

Nice video, Joe. Thanks for doing this. I've been on the fence about whether to
upgrade my Mac or my iPad. I tend to think of my Mac as a work device and my
iPad as a fun device, so was glad to see you focus on how iPad apps work on the
Mac
One question. Does the 13-inch pro have a touch bar
