Thanks! Option, command, up or down arrow works for me as well. It takes me to
the very top row of the column voice Over is in. So if I am in the subject
field, it will take me all the way to the top or bottom row of the subject
column, which is quite handy. VO,FN, plus left or right arrow also
Christina, if you are interacting with the table, try VO function left arrow to
get to the top, and VO function right arrow to get to the bottom.

Weird, neither one of my option keys plus up or down arrow works weather I am
interacting with the messages table or not. I am on latest El Capitan. I do
get an announcement that says “field selected when I try the option up arrow
when I am not interacting with the table but when I do interact
Option-Up or Down Arrow works for me whether interacting or not in the latest
version of El Capitan.

@Christina: I beleive it sets the cursor to the first or last element that’s
visible on screen.
@Alex and Rick: Option + arrow up or down works - what a pitty - only in older
versions of Mac OS but not in Yosemite or El Capitan. At least it doesn’t work
on my Mac using 10.11.3, either
Are you interacting with the table? As far as I know, you have to NOT be
interacting for that command to work.
