Hello,
After doing some researching, I have found that this is a problem that
apparently affects Bose specifically. According to the forum topic on their
website, one needs to update some sort of driver in order to make this work.

It's awful because a couple of years ago, I had written to Bose about
accessibility of their update software. They obviously consider blind people
as no market so they won't do anything about that. Makes me cross!

the music. If VO is still too loud, try turning down VO's output level by
pressing ctrl-option-cmd-left until you hear VO announce
Hello,
I managed to get it paired and it is working [somehow]. However, I noticed a
different issue pertaining to music playback. the music in iTunes is quite low
and is disproportionate to voiceover. Any ideas how this can be resolved? I am
pretty new at this bluetooth stuff so I apologize for
Hi,
That is normal behaviour for the VO sound to come out of the internal speakers
and the music and such to be routed to the Bluetooth speaker. Most of the
time, I much prefer it this way as I can do VO things and have the music going

Hello,
It has been a couple years since I have done something like that, so my memory
is quite probably flawed. I seem to recall that the BlueTooth speaker needs to
be active for it to appear in the sound sources list. Also, I recall needing to
work in the Bluetooth tables as well as the sound
Hi, just to give a little more information, I have my mac connected to the
speaker, yet as I mentioned, I am not getting output from the speaker itself. I
took a quick glance under sounds, and my bluetooth speaker wasn’t even listed
as one of the output devices. Is there something I am doing
Hi,
It is connected and paired and I have restarted voiceover. However, I am still
getting speech through my mac.

Two things to do, make sure the device is paired and connected and then restart
VO. It should reroute to the new speaker automatically but sometimes it
requires a command F5 quick restart.

Hello everyone,
I bought a brand new blue tooth speaker and I have it paired with my mac.
however, when I have my mac connected and paired, voiceover still comes through
my mac speakers and not the bluetooth speaker. Any ideas why this is happening
and how to fix it?
I am using the Bose sound
