Jason, it appears your are correct. There is an extension for Edge on Windows
but this won't work on Mac although when I tried it installed I got the
\message indicating the extension was unnecessary to access Icloud passwords
running Edge on Mac.

As far as I know, the Chromium-based browsers can’t access Keychain. There may

FYI I received the answer from E.T. whoo often posts to this list. He told me
to first open the desired App in IOS, which in my case is VoiceDream Writer.
You then open the Files App and locate the desired file and do a 1 finger
double tap. This opens the file using the desired App. IOS
Are you using the Files App? the Text files should open in that.

Hi,
Is this a brand new Apple ID account, or an iCloud alias to your existing Apple
ID/iCloud account. If the latter, then it’s the same password as your Apple
ID. If the former, then it’s the password you used to create the account.

In creating a new icloud email account, is it the icloud password that is
needed? Each time I attempt, the sign in is not working so I click the back
button - after changing the email address many times I am thinking that I have
the wrong type of password. The screen does not notify me
1. Go to system Preferences > Internet Accounts.
2. Select iCloud as the new account type.
3. SignIn to the iCloud account using the AppleID and password for the account.
4. Select Mail, and any other account services you wish to activate for the
new iCloud account.
