Hi Nancy, I just installed an HP 6815 printer / copier / scanner for my mother and it works great. The initial setup of the printer requires site if you want to use the WiFi portion but if you’re just plugging in you can do the rest with the Mac. Integrates right with the built in printer

My HP Printer has a very extensive web page built in to do configurations also. So you could probably connect to ethernet hardwired then connect to the printer and change settings. Actually, I believe the HP printers are also set up as wireless base stations so perhaps just switching your Mac to
