How do you fax from a MacBook Pro? Do you use Pages or TextEdit? Do you use the
print option? Do you have to have any special devices hooked up to your Mac to
do it? And, last but not least, do you need special software other than
TextEdit or Pages?

I remember my windows screen reader had shortcuts like alt1 read the from
field, alt2 read the to field, etc. If you pressed those shortcuts twice,

Yes, exactly. Connect a phone line to the RJ11 port and you should be good
to go if the device has faxing capabilities. YOu can even configure receiving
fax preferences in System Preferences in the Print and Scan preferences for the
device.

For an all in one unit? I didnt' spend that kind of money on mine. At
least half of that at least. You can get all in-ones for $150 or so I think,
depending on the model. I have an 8500 because I got a deal on it and it has
the wireless capabilities built in.

I use fax.com. I have had no problems with them. Settitng up the account
was easy and sending faxes takes no time. It's accessible and simple, just how

I am using a MacBook Pro (a 13 inch duel core I7 Retna) with VMWare Fusion.
I notice sometimes that speech either with Window-Eyes or JAWS using
Elloquence that it sounds robotic or slightly stutters. Simply pressing the
control key stops speech and returns it to normal working
The only way I can get events to push both directions is to make sure events
use my work calendar. For some reason, when I change the default on the Mac to
Calendar, which is what it seems to be on the phone, events still don't push.
For now, it's easy enough to make sure that important events
