Personally I agree apple products are over priced but they do tend to be more

What is it that you wish to do with this machine?
My personal thought is that SSD is without a doubt needed

The hard ware is upgradable. I have a 2014 Mac mini, but don’t use my Mac
enough anymore to upgrade, I was thinking 32GB of ram, 512 SSD, 10GB ethernet,
but it came to 2000 bucks, so I went with the iPad Pro 11 inch instead, with
the Logitech slim folio pro keyboard case. Saved 1300 bucks.
I finally tried doing it in Windows. And found a pile of created

As to Apple Accessibility, well they have not responded to my emails

Hello,
Here's one way to find out.
Connect the keyboard to your mac with the usb/lightning cable. Assuming it's an
apple keyboard.
I have mine connected with the cha5rging cable. Even when it's not connected,
it doesn't slown as far as I can tell.

Hi,
Is it an Apple wireless keyboard, or a third party one? Normally, that still
shouldn't make any difference, but it is worth considering. If you have a
wired keyboard anywhere handy that you could test, that would be useful.

Come to think of it, could the small delay be because I’m using a USB wireless
keyboard?
Its like a second after I hit the key.

Hi,
It seems to be creating a "fly out" web dialog that VO is not gaining access to
for some reason. Using an iPhone or iPad seems to be OK, but Safari on the Mac

I have had occasion to find them hard to locate. I

Hello,
My Mac Mini 2013 with 16GB of RAM has no VO thing, unless it is explained more
clearly.
I don’t know if it is still true but ensure that you get the spec you want
because they are not upgradable now. Yes the software is but the hardware is
not. I would love to be wrong on this.

If your coming from windows, the 2 second vo delay when you press a key, might
drive you nuts.
This is my first Mac, and I’ve gotten used to the small delay.

Hi,
What is the VO problem with this system?
In all probability, at some point, I probably will run windows under bootcamp.

Hi, I have the new mini.
I have the i7 processor, 16 gigs of ram, and the 512 gig ssd.
VO, has this delay thing, that drives me nuts sometimes, I got it for making
music things.
But, if you ever want to run windows with bootcamp, it runs like a champ.

Hello list,
I'm thinking about purchasing a new mac mini.
So here are a few questions.
Out of the box with its basic configuration. What do you guys think of this
machine?
If I were to upgrade, I'd probably go with a 256 GB SSD. And perhaps also
upgrading to the max processor for this unit.
This is for any third party app that needs access to Apple services
such as iCloud. You log into Apple id then in the Security area is App
Specific Passwords where you generate a password to be copied and pasted
into that third party app.
I cannot figure out how to find the password

Hi,
Is this for Google environment stuff, or something else? App Specific
passwords are only needed for certain non-secure apps in the Google world.
Most stock Apple apps like Mail no longer require App Specific passwords.

I use DJ pro on the Mac to do what you are asking and much more
The program is fairly accessible with voice over and you can get it from the
Mac App Store. The price is around $50 I believe.

This is needed when two factor authentication is turned on. After
entering a label then pressing the Create button, I could not locate the
created password. I don't know if any recent updates changed how this is
done under macOS 10.14.4 but I sure would like to know what works for
others.
