Re: one password questions
Hello, Can onePassword automatically log you into iOS apps? Say, I need to reinter my details into the tv guide app or Twitterrific. I am not seeing this feature with iCloud Keychain. Re: one password questions
Hi! Yes, it can. If the app has implemented the 1Password extension, you will see a 1Password icon on the appropriate screens. Of course, if they haven't yet, you can always suggest that they do. Of course, in the case of apps that use either Twitter or Facebook, you can just enter those details into the settings app under Twitter/Facebook, and alert should pop up when you want to log in asking if you want to allow permission to that information. To get an idea of which apps work with 1Password, see here: https://blog.agilebits.com/1password-apps/ Nicolai > On Oct 12, 2015, at 1:37 PM, Traci Duncanwrote: > > Hello, Can onePassword automatically log you into iOS apps? one password questions
Hello all, The One password for Mac is on sale for $29.99. I’m not positive how good of a deal this is or how long it will last but I’m thinking of purchasing it and I have a couple of questions. 1. Is it VO accessible on the mac and iOS? If so, to what extent, fully accessible, or are some aspects of One password in accessible to voice Over? 2. I tried Last Pass quite some time ago but I gave up on it because it seemed to mess up my browsing experience in Safari on the Mac. My cursor would constantly jump around and I would lose focus. All of this stopped once I quit Last Pass. Anyways, does this same problem occur with One Password while in Safari on the Mac? Re: one password questions
Hi I do not know how well it works on Android, although cross-platform is a huge benefit. Something I forgot to mention is that you can also share any item you have in 1Password with someone else. I don't think iCloud Keychain can do that. 1Password also has vaults you can share with others, like family or enterprise. Hi! Yes, several. As an important one, iCloud Keychain only works with Safari, and no other browsers. 1Password supports Safari, Chrome and Firefox, and also works with Safari and Chrome on iOS. While iCloud Keychain doesn't require a master password unlike 1Password, as it can use the built-in authentication frameworks, you can change how frequently you are required to enter the master password. Additionally, you can use Touch ID on iOS. Another difference is that iCloud Keychain will automatically fill in logins when you click to log in, although you can simply use a keyboard shortcut for this when using 1Password. It can either submit automatically or simply fill in the appropriate fields without doing anything else. The same applies to iOS, although you'll need to use the Share sheet here with 1Password. Essentially, these are just different ways of doing the same thing. 1Password seems to organize everything better, however, as it provides more categories. it isn't just for passwords and credit cards, although if you primarily use Safari on both OS X and iOS and only want to deal with passwords and credit cards, the iCloud Keychain does offer a good user experience. I use 1Password to store passports, credit cards, secure notes, passwords as well as software licenses. I think it has about 17 categories to choose from. You can also attach files to your passwords and credit cards. I don't believe the iCloud Keychain provides this feature, but if it does, I'm more than happy to be corrected. Re: one password questions
Have you read the description in the Mac App Store? That may give you the information you need. One Password is also cross platform if you need that. Of course, I don’t know about the accessibility of one password on Android. I’m also not sure if it’s on PC. I only know about apple stuff.
