I may install Debian to use on a raspberry pi and connect to a big hard drive.
I have also thought of preparing my 2011 mac mini to act as a file server of

For myself, I have a very interesting setup. I started with a mediasonic

How interesting to read. Thanks for your personal story.
I probably going to try out a DS218+ or a DS218Play by Synologie. Seems to be
pretty much what I’m looking for and the support from WD didn’t convince me.
All the best

My x bought wd mycloud and it worked really well. The browser interface
was fully accessible. It connected to mac and windows desktops seemlessly
across the network and it had fully accessible though not 100% cosey ios
and android apps. All in all, a great effort as of three years ago.
Hi,
has anyone experiences which NAS is recommendable for VoiceOver users on the
Mac and an i-device?
What I mean is which interface to control the NAS is most accessible to VO? I
consider one by Synologie or WD MyCloud and I don’t want to buy one which I’m
not able to use in the end.
Thanks
