Hey you all I feel stupid. I got the remote connected. I forgot that I
should *not* have the phone plugged in to the computer to set it up. All is
well and a podcast is coming shortly.

It won't come with voiceover; all that we have learnt is that it's running a
customised version of ios which can be jailbroken, although this almost
surtainly does not translate to us
