You have a system dialogue on your screen. You have to hold down VO and press F1 twice to bring up the window chooser. If you haven’t changed your function keys, you will need to add the FN key to that. Then down arrow to where it says system dialogues and press enter or VO space and arrow

I updated my Intel Mac Mini to the latest Monterey this morning. I am getting that periodic beep-chime and I can't seem to get rid of it. VO+N tells me no notifications; and on a second press tells me no announcements. I'm flummoxed (and annoyed) yet again. Seems like some settings aren't
