Re: Amazon or Hulu on Apple TV?
Hi Mary, I've actually spent some time googling who has more of the shows we like. It's pretty much a toss-up each has one or two programs that the other doesn't, but many of the shows we would watch are on both. Weighing in in favor of Prime of course is all the other stuff you get as a Prime member. So for now, I'm leaning that direction. I just thought I would check here first to see if there were any known accessibility issues with either of them. thanks for your input. Re: Amazon or Hulu on Apple TV?
Hi ‘Donna, Well, I’m pretty sure Prime and Hulu offer free trials. So perhaps the best way to go is to sign up for both and see who’s programming you might like the best. I would be shocked if Prime wasn’t fully accessible. I’m not entirely sure about Hulu, and Prime does have more original programming also more described program. They do have some older shows. Hulu probably has more older shows. Mary Sent from my iPhone > On Jun 9, 2019, at 5:12 PM, 'Donna Goodin' via MacVisionaries > wrote: > > Hi Mary, > > Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Hi Donna, Well, since prime is free assuming you are a prime member, that would be a no brainer. I mean, it won’t cost you anything. Somewhere, I think I heard that the prime app is self voicing. That might not be true anymore, or I might simply be misremembering. Re: Amazon or Hulu on Apple TV?
Hi Donna, What do you mean when you say you will be adding Amazon? The only Amazon thing I am aware of is Amazon prime. There’s a lot of free stuff in there for prime members, and there is a good bit of audio described stuff within that. Hulu has just started having audio description. I think they only have a couple of things. But I’m unsure about what you can “subscribe to“ with Amazon as a non-prime member. I really can’t comment on the accessibility of the actual apps on the Apple TV, because I use my Fire TV for Amazon prime, where it is of course, very accessible. Hulu, accessibility on both th phone iPad and APPLE Tv.
Sent from my iPhoneHi guys, I have a curious accessibility question I need some assistance with. I just started, or I shoud a, my family and I just go id of cable and ae uing Hulu, Neflix, ime, and oomarang for our cable services, and are pretty excited about it. However, I have some questions and a few issues. Hulu, for instance. I noticed I can't seem to navigate it on the IPhone 7 plus, or the IPad Mini. Are there some tricks that work with making it accessible with voiceover? Is it accessible on the Apple Tv 4th Gen? Also, Boomarang seems to have the same interface. Is there any suggestions you can give me on that?Ne!flix is great, and so is prime, but Hulu is my bump in the road as it were. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for any help you can give. Take care. -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Differences between Netflix and Hulu plus: opinions?
Subject line just about says it all. I'm contemplating Netflix and Hulu plus for 2015, however, I am unaware of most of the differences. Well I'm sure I could look up most of the common differences online, what are very particularly want to know, is with respect to the accessibility of both services as relates to Apple TV. With respect to accessibility, therefore, which is better: Hulu plus, or Netflix? I imagine that there will be some differences, but, I really don't know for sure. They both seem to be priced the same per month: $7.95, however, I would like to know what other thoughts of you buddy may have asked of the differences between the two services. The latest version of Hulu+ is not very accessible. Netflix is still pretty consistent as far as accessibility goes. This is from an IOS point of view. Re: Differences between Netflix and Hulu plus: opinions?
Both services are accessible on the Apple TV. We have accounts for both. My husband uses them. I have lately started using both, and they are both fully accessible so far as I can tell. Netflix on iOS, I do not find accessible at all. Or I should say very limited. Very frustrating. It used to work better, with a workaround. But these days, I can't get it to work for love or money. Re: Differences between Netflix and Hulu plus: opinions?
I do not have Apple TV; someone got us Roku last year, which as far as I can tell, is inaccessible, unless someone can tell me differently. My legally blind husband can use it, but I cannot. As far as on the iPhone, I find Hulu slightly more accessible than Netflix, but not by much, but Hulu has better content for what I am interested in. I find Netflix’ streaming content quite limited. Hulu Plus Frustrations
Good day all. I have had no difficulty using the Hulu Plus app on my iPhone 5. However, despite receiving the message now playing when I select something on the Mac, nothing is showing. I am not receiving any sort of message about Flash, though this is the only explanation I can think of why it is not working. If anyone is successfully playing Hulu Plus content on his or her Macbook, could you please let me know what I might do to view content on the Mac? Thank you.
