checked and that settings has been applied, then you can delete custom
ring-tones.

While looking at this, I find I cannot delete custom ringtones that
are on my iPhone due to running iTunes 12.7. With the device connected,
and browsing to the Tones item under Devices in the sidebar, there are
no tones to be seen. How to delete them?
