Now see right here is why this list is so valuable. I had no idea about this
feature and that totally changes my experience with the light bar.
Thank you so much for posting this, I love learning something new.

Thanks, but I’ve never been able to get this to work. Sometimes, I have
sections 1 and 2, but often I don’t. In this view, my touch bar is always
blank, meaning I have no icons to double tap for removal. There’s no indication
of what’s in the bar and what’s not, and focus jumps from section to
Hi Alex and All,
Here’s how to customize the Touch Bar in Mail:
1. Select “Customize Touch Bar” from the View Menu.
2. VO-Right Arrow till you hear, “Section 2,” and interact with it.
3. VO-Right and Left Arrow to review options. Select the addition you want

Hey Alex,
Thanks for all this! It's great info. I had no idea about the new volume
control commands, they're way easier than going into the rotor. I might give
the trackpad commander another go. I tried it a while back, and gave up,
because it seemed I was always brushing it with my wrists

The option I’d suggest is to
Oh, that's handy. Thank you!

Hi Donna,
The regular numbers row will act as function keys if you also hold down the
function key next to the Control key, along with the VO keys. All If you want
the numbers row to turn into function keys, hold down the function key and
swipe right or left on the touch bar until you find
Hey Scott,
Thanks. I've been thinking I'll give it a try as is and see how I like it.
But yeah, the Magic keyboard is definitely a possibility. I just always hate
adding a keyboard as a peripheral, sort of negates the purpose of having a
laptop.
Cheers,

Hi Donna, here’s how you do it.
You buy yourself a magic keyboard and use that instead.;)
Ok soil you have to use the touch bar you can flick left and right to select
the F key or also approximate the location and touch there. Then you have to
hold down the FN key and the two VO keys and
