Re: unable to answer security questions in iCloud

2016-09-18 Thread Scott Granados
Remember your old phone only needs WiFi to work. If you have a pad or
something else you can also use that and on your new phone you can delete there
as well. I just had to noodle around with it a while and get things to work.

I wonder now with this two factor stuff on iOS, how would one upgrade to a
new phone since it appears that you need both the old and new active with
cellular connectivity to do it? My lease is coming up in November, and I
plan on upgrading, but I don't want to end up locking myself out of my Apple
ID for good doing it.

enter the answers, I get a "critical server error" message saying my

Re: unable to answer security questions in iCloud

2016-09-18 Thread Donna Goodin
You know, I think so. So I changed my security questions, and now, when I
enter the answers, I get a "critical server error" message saying my request
cannot be completed at this time.
Cheers,
Donna

Re: unable to answer security questions in iCloud

2016-09-18 Thread Scott Granados
Something is broken, I had huge problems with this yesterday when I gave my dad
the old phone. For some reason the entries on the phone didn’t work and when I
reset the phone it didn’t automatically delete me from iCloud. I had to
execute the removal from the web at iCloud.com. That was my work around anyway
and it worked properly. Now I’m having problems with changes sticking in cloud
like my unlock with watch option.

Wonder if something is sideways at apple?

unable to answer security questions in iCloud

2016-09-18 Thread Donna Goodin
Hi all,

I'm trying to delete my old phone from my iCloud devices. In order to do this,
I have to answer the two security questions. I know exactly what the answers
are, but there's something about how I wrote my answers that I'm not getting
right. Does anyone know what I can do? It's now told me I've made too many
attempts to answer the questions.
Thanks,
Donna
