It would be useful to have a login block that could be placed on pages

For multiple institutions, it would be very useful to give the
institutional administrator the ability to directly update unique
content on an institution dashboard.
Currently, this is only possible if the site has been hacked for
isolated themes and the php text is updated

What do you mean by keep with next artifact in print, Melissa? Would
that be like not printing part of a table on one page and the rest on
the next?

I remove the milestone because this was merged into 1.8.0 already.

I don't see the problem either. Tested in FF25 in Ubuntu and on Mac 10.9

Seems like it's working. Haven't seen any spammers over the last few
days (except one who didn't post links). :-)

We're heading down that slippery slope towards an atomic permissions
system like Moodle. ;)
This looks like it esp. on sites that serve a wide range of users where
institutions want to have more control. More control = more regulation =
more permission settings.

Since I wasn't able to replicate the issue in 2010 and haven't seen it
since, I would say that we should close it. SInce then when I tried to
go to a page of which I wasn't an owner, I could see it if I had
permissions to do so or not if I didn't have the appropriate
permissions. If it occurs
Evonne fixed the problem as far as I can tell.

Agreed. It's great if a task gets completed before its due date. ;-)

Hello Dirk,
Can you please check if this new way of counting / displaying notes

Since we have links everywhere else, a link would be great. If you
aren't logged in yet, shouldn't the link redirect you to the login page
form and then take you to the correct page?

The way we add images that have been uploaded into a journal entry isn't
ideal as you first need to attach the image to the entry and only then
do you see it in the drop-down menu in the custom TinyMCE. We've been
discussing this issue elsewhere and it should be easier to include
images into
I believe this affects site admins only. However, if a user has an auth
method from a different institution, the institution admin can't
administer them as far as I know, which is a problem.

Robert: This is not an issue anymore since we've had the safeiframe
feature of HTMLPurifier that makes our life much easier. :-) The iframe
code was simply stripped out upon saving because it was considered
unsafe.
Andrew's idea for an easy embed button is already a wishlist item (bug

Public bug reported:
latest master (1.9.0dev):
I cannot change the authentication method anymore on a user's admin
settings page.
Test scenario:
1. User A is in institution 1 that has two auth methods: internal and LDAP. Uer
A has LDAP as auth method.
2. Going to his /admin/users/edit.php
Argh. That doesn't work because the site admin hasn't chosen the
password or email yet. I would go for a new string as I said in comment
#8 instead of reusing the one that a site admin sees on the site admin
homepage when logged in. This new string would then not include a link
as that doesn't
