I had a look at the functionality and think we can include it into
Mahara core with a few adjustments and fixing of bugs. Can you please

I reported the "Latest changes" block at bug 1782955 as they should be
separate.
So this one here remains for the "Watched pages". Though, why would you
want to configure the watched pages block since you determine which
pages to watch?

A page needs to be put on the watchlist automatically and that doesn't
happen if the page wasn't even shared with someone. Could you replicate
the issue with another user who also had the page copied into their
portfolio automatically?
