Thanks to Steve Turnbull's help and some intelligent manual-reading, I have successfully built and installed version 2.1.18-1 on a Debian 7 (Wheezy) system. check_perms reports no problems, `version' reports the right version number, I'm ready for the next step, which is to move an entire
