I've looked at everything I can think of at this point and can't find a
solution. What am I missing? Is there an obscure setting somewhere or a
database file or something out there that needs to be told what lists are
on the server?

I can't speak to plans for modifying Richard Barrett's patches, but

with it as I have had other

My suggestion to minimize impact is to create a copy of the .mbox
file in another directory, edit it as needed. Shut down mailman, move
the file over to where it needs to be using the mv command. Restart mailman.
