It is just formulas, without integrals or differentials, and so easy to
understand.

spent all day putting together a complicated map of a Marina (with all the
bells and whistles) on my NT workstation and because it takes forever to

A couple of things to remember here:
1. A 20MB plot file could blow out to 100+MB when it is raterized in the
plotter. The later HP plotters are more economical on this than the old
650C.
2. Text halos in MapInfo take up a HUGE amount of plotter memory. If you
