When you installed MapInfo DBMS support you included the optional Oracle8i
support. This consists of the MIDLOCI.DLL which depends on OCI components
supplied by Oracle. If they are not installed, then the DLL cannot load.
Hence the warning message
"(c:\program files\mapinfo\mapinfow.mnu:1090)

The simple solution to your problem:
I am trying to work out a live link between MS Access 2000 and MI Pro
5.5.
Save the Access 2000 table as an Access 97 format table.
Only MI Pro 6.0 will support Access 2000 databases.
