First, let's have the map_areas table name parametrization merged in and
deployed. It needs a first patch on ocitysmap, and the corresponding patch on
maposmatic to reflect the API change.

Each completed job now features a Recreate map button that reschedules
a similar map on the queue. The button only appears for completed maps
(status = 2), and triggers a rendering_already_exists() check before
creating a new MapRenderingJob.

Absolutely.
Some of the new features we want to add (like map ratio/paper size selection,
etc) will require that we reinvent the map request form. When we come to
this, we'll of course make sure we take into account CSS map styling and a
in scripts/, then simply erase
it from your repository.
It has been removed already, replaced by daemon.py. So the ignore is no
longer necessary.
If you still have a maposmaticd.sh and it's showing up in git status,
it's your fault :)

I've given some more work to my query optimization patch in the past few
days, in particular to track down these annoying GEOS intersect errors.
It appears the version of GEOS on the server (3.0.x) is very buggy with
intersections computations so there is no real solution here

We can also now get rid of the cities_area_by_name and
cities_area_by_osmid views, and also perform a small optimization on the
contour request.
