[MCN-L] conference presentations [faked-from]
I would second Alan's request in light that the museum community often acquires digital files from each other for reproduction. A spec for printers might help facilitate consistent reproduction. It could be a panel or poster session. I want to make a report of a study I will soon initiate with half a dozen other museums to follow up on a museum spec for delivering files to offset lithographers. I expect we will incorporate this into UPDIG. This would be a follow up to a discussion I had in my 2006 panel in Pasadena. Hello John and all, MCN 2006 session pages* now carry links to an initial batch of presentation materials (those received most quickly from presenters), thanks to Conference Program Chair Erin Coburn, Web Committee member Christina DePaolo, and Web Editor Margaret Kendrick. More such materials are, I believe, in the pipeline. Thanks for asking! Hi Deb and all, Links to all Pasadena papers that were received from speakers are on the three daily conference-session pages. Links to those pages may be found here: http://www.mcn.edu/conferences/index.asp?subkey=1227 An interesting usability moment here, it seems. One path to this is: Conferences Past Conferences MCN 2006 Pasadena MCN 2006 | Sessions But this is not especially intuitive. There's now a note on the Past Conferences page that may help lead inquiring minds in the right direction. cheers, Rob At 4:27 PM -0500 2/1/07, you wrote: There's been a discussion on the TMS listserv about managing digital images and I wanted to point them to the Psasdena conference presentations that were posted on the MCN website.
