603970 motor - the idea is the same. The motor will actually sit on the
oil pan with no problem. Extra blocks keep

You need to remove the door panel and tighten the nuts on the backside--no
other way to achieve this. Door panel RR on 124s is a royal PITA.
Installation requires you to push, pull, twist and say the magic German
curse words all at the same time. Oh, and try not to break any of the
hanger tabs

There was some discussion about that a year or two ago. I think the
outcome was to tow a better car along behind you, along with jacks,
tools, air compressor, welder, a drum of each type of Mobil1 fluids, a
tanker for fuel, and a German mechanic.
